August 4th, 20084) Avoid processed foods.
The more highly processed a food is, the quicker your body digests it - leading to a rapid rise in your blood glucose level. This is usually followed by your body’s release of a lot of insulin which helps your muscles and organs absorb the glucose. When your body absorbs your glucose rapidly, you become hungry quickly. If you have eaten too much, insulin helps your body store the extra glucose as fat.

You can also spot a processed food by ingredients such as high fructose corn syrup or white flour.
Examples of processed foods include white bread, chips (potato, corn, even vegetable), sweets (donuts, cookies, cakes, brownies, etc) and sweetened beverages (soda, sweetened fruit juices, etc).
