Five ways to control your appetite: #5
August 5th, 20085) Eat healthy fats
Fats help you to feel full for longer. They also help you to absorb more of the fat soluble vitamins (A, D, E, K).
While vegetable oils such as olive oil are healthy, it is better to get your fats in an even more natural form - whole foods. The best sources of healthy fats include fatty fish such as salmon, tuna, ancioves and sardines.
Other sources include nuts such as walnuts and almonds. Just be careful to limit your serving size to one ounce so that you don’t overeat them since they are high in calories. And try sticking to raw nuts rather than salted or sweetened. But overall, nuts make an excellent snack.
You can also try natural peanut butter or almond butter with your veggies to really help fill you up while giving you excellent nutrition.
